The Dichotomy of Man and Nature

An interactive installation exploring the boundary crossed between Man and Nature. In 2016 the Great Barrier Reef died, Mans touch has gone too far: Thanks to Global Warming we have lost half of the worlds Coral Reefs In the last 30 years. Our oceans absorb 93% of the energy released by Green house gasses which cause its temperature to rise and in turn Corals to bleach and eventually, die. Corals are fundamental pieces of huge ecosystems; if we lose Corals, we will be effecting 1/4 of the Ocean.

It won’t stop there; Coral’s are the forests of the ocean and we will start to see huge impacts in our lifetime if this continues.
